Your career material stays yours
JobToSend handles sensitive career data, so the product keeps source documents,
generated outputs, and processing paths understandable and controllable. This page
states plainly what is stored, what leaves the system, and what you can delete.
Data JobToSend stores
- Account identity from sign-in, including email and display name when provided.
- Documents you create or upload, extracted text, metadata, and original file bytes.
- Profiles, profile versions, Apply sessions, job text, notes, positioning inputs, and generated applications.
- Render caches, evaluation caches, AI usage records, and billing state when billing is configured.
External processing
- OpenAI receives only the content needed for the AI action you request.
- Stripe handles payment details for checkout, subscriptions, credits, invoices, and customer portal access.
- Keycloak handles authentication and returns account identity used for the JobToSend session.
Retention and cleanup
- Generated PDF and render cache entries expire by default after 730 days.
- Account cleanup removes visible data and derived data such as sessions, generated caches, evaluation caches, and AI usage records.
- Billing records may require separate retention because payment and accounting data is handled through Stripe.
Your controls
- Use Settings to export account data.
- Use Settings to delete documents, applications, profile knowledge, or clear account data.
- Use individual document and application controls to remove narrower records.
